In front of the same business last night, Nanjing’s casual approach to toiletry was stretched to a new level. A local man, in full view of passing people and traffic, dropped his trousers. Half naked, he relieved himself onto a small garden, hoisted his trousers again, and walked off unconcerned.
Belatedly, the overnight minimum temperatures have dropped below zero, but it will be short-lived. The unseasonable “warmth” is back from Saturday. Usually most nights are below zero at this time of year.
