Ah, the Nanjing we know and love! Last week’s Lifecycle was a bit premature when it told you that The Nanjinger magazine was about to hit the streets. It arrived (a smidgeon late?) ready to be delivered, but the printing was less than perfect. So it has been returned to the printer. The reprint is due now, so maybe this week you can pick up your hard copy. Unless, of course, ………
What was it like? Probably each expat with over a decade of life here will have a different answer. Apart from “light” mentioned in a previous Lifecycle, today’s expats have an abundance of activities to choose from, compared with the lean pickings of times past. Indeed, with so much for people to do, many long-standing activities are struggling to get numbers. The Running Club has disappeared, and Hash has less than half the numbers of ten years ago.
