Fire Obliterates Minsk Aircraft Carrier in Nantong; Renovation Project in Doubt

The fire in the afternoon of 16 August destroyed much of the Minsk’s bridge and island superstructure. One of four Kiev class carriers built by Russia, the Minsk was the fifth biggest aircraft carrier in the world when it was launched.
