Who’d want to be a weather forecaster? Well, at least in the long range business. With a shift in ocean currents, we were promised a colder than usual Winter. In late November, it seemed true with a nasty cold snap and snow. But then it all disappeared. Here we are in January, and still having days when coats are not necessary.

And on the subject of transport, only two weeks to go until Line 4 on the Metro opens, just in time for Spring Festival when demand for public transport fades away.

One of the roadside farms has now definitely gone, completely replaced by the carefully manicured garden of the new developments. Somehow the mishmash of vegetables seemed more attractive. Time to consider trees that produce fruits and nuts maybe?
