A grandma living in Suzhou’s Xiangcheng District makes all kinds of trendy clothes for her two-year-old granddaughter, and the little girl can wear a different outfit every day in a month.
This 47-year-old fashionable grandma is named Pan Wenmei and has worked in a clothing factory for more than 30 years. After she learnt from news that some children’s clothes have excessive methanal, Pan wanted to make clothes for her granddaughter by hand.
“My mom made more than 20 pieces of clothes for my daughter last summer,” said Pan’s daughter Zhao Lei. Every time the little girl wears the new clothes made by her grandma, Zhao Lei would take a photo and post it online.
While praising those pretty clothes, many netizens hoped Pan Wenmei can make the same clothes for their children. Now Zhao Lei has more than 2,000 net-friends and customers on her WeChat account, and Pan Wenmei’s fans are distributed in more than 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
