The first Lihu International Light Festival kicked off on September 24 and will last till Oct 8.
During the festival, about 100 scenic spots of lighting art in the West Lihu Scenic Zone and Lihu Central Park in Wuxi will meet with the tourists.
The biggest highlight of the festival is the debut of works by tens of international lighting designers. Drawing on the successful experience of Amsterdam Light Festival and Lyon Festival of Lights, Lihu International Light Festival features Chinese artistic aesthetics and set up the “Across 3,000 Years” light exhibition, including light fixtures from the Neo-Stone Age and Western Zhou Dynasty. Tourists will be able to appreciate those valuable exhibits at close range and feel the history of evolution of lighting devices.
