A sweaty middle-aged man surnamed Zheng rushed into Yunting Police Station in Jiangyin on July 17, claiming that he had wrongly sent 800,000 yuan to a wrong account because of wrong operations on July 17. Realizing the mistake, Zheng tried to log into the remittee’s account immediately and intentionally input wrong transfer password to freeze the account, in an attempt to prevent the recipient from withdrawal and gain time for the police. The police launched an investigation and contacted the recipient Shen. Coincidently, Shen had also called the police at once when he found the out-of-nowhere money in his bank account. Zheng finally felt relieved when his money was back in his account under the help of the police after two hours.
