On this Day in Chinese History; 31 January

This day, 31 January, in 1992, Premier Li Peng attended the United Nations Security Council Summit held in New York, where he reminded that China would abide by the purposes and principles of the Charter, and discussed challenges facing the UN with member states. Li also also met with US President George Bush to exchange views on bilateral relations and international issues of common concern.
