The jet fuel made by the Jinling Petrochemical Co. (JPC) on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Nanjing was pumped into the Danish “Tom Hevig” tanker on the afternoon of Jun 24 which will ship 30,000-ton jet fuel to Alaska of the US. This is the first time for petrochemical company of China to export jet fuel to the US market.
The JPC is China’s important jet fuel export base. It exported 1.3 million tons of jet fuel to Hong Kong last year. Its jet fuel export volume has been increasing year by year since 2009. In addition, all the jet fuel products made by the JPC have met the quality standard with zero record of customer complaints.
